Census Updates 1861 & 1871 Census of Mossley

It's been a while since I updated the blog, but I have been busy transforming all of the web site to a CSS format.

Since the last posting though, I have also added two more EDs to the web pages.

1861 Ed8 Top Mossley and 1871 Ed16 also from Top Mossley

Hope these help someone as usual

1891 & 1901 Censuses

Two more EDs completed.

1891 Ed 6 as mentioned before which is the Waterloo area of the district and 1901 ED 4 which covers Hurst Brook.

I have now started the mammoth taks of ED 7 for Mossley 1911. 400 families so it will take a about a fortnight or so.

The usual starting point applies www.c5d.co.uk/censuspages.htm

1871 Census

Another one complete.

This time it's ED 18; a rather large ED covering Bottom Mossley.

I've now started the small ED 8 which was around Hartshead Pike.

As usual the census is free available at http://www.c5d.co.uk/censuspages.htm

Hope you find someone

Census Updates

It's been a while since I posted any updates.

However since March the census pages have been expanded to include the whole of Hartshead for 1841, further 1851 and 1861 sub districts have been published and four of the six districts from 1911.

It's taken a lot of time but all that's there is free and viewable from
http://www.c5d.co.uk/censuspages.htm

As usual, I hope you find someone you've been looking for.

Good Luck
