1861 Census of Mossley

A rather hefty ED has been completed.  ED 8 from 1861 encompassing some 1700 people from Top Mossley.

It was so big it necessitated two enumeration books.

1851 Census of Hartshead Completed

At last all the EDs from 1851 are complete.  They are all freely available and the starting page is www.c5d.co.uk/censuspages.htm.

I have also added ED 5 from the 1901 census which covers Smallshaw & Hurst

1851 Census of Hartshead

Enumeration District 1f has now been completed.

It is the Cocker Hill area of Stalybridge and comprises 200 families wih just over 1000 people.
